 With a designation such as this, one would expect to find an old southern
mansion surrounded by stately oaks and ancient magnolias. In your
mind's eye, you see the charming southern belles in their bustled
gowns, strolling through the formal gardens, gloved hands holding small
 silk
parasols to shade them from the hot summer sun; their beaus close by in
tails and top hat. You see the many porches surrounding the
mansion; sweet music drifts outside, melodies coming from the baby
grand in the music room. Inside, you find glistening hardwood floors with
their oriental coverings; the elegant, exquisite period furnishings in each
of the many rooms, the colorful decor reminiscent of the Old South. This is "Magnolia Hall." |
